Virtual Attendees

Once I am registered, how do I join the sessions?
You will receive an e-mail approximately one week prior to the event with a password to access the sessions.  Click here or click "Enter Sessions" from the menu bar at the top left of the site.  Once prompted, enter the password received via e-mail.

How do I submit my CEU form?

Much like our in-person FLAA Conventions, at the conclusion of each session, a CEU code will be on the presenter's screen.  Please write each CEU code down somewhere safe.  When are you done viewing all CEU sessions that you plan to attend for the whole Convention, please click here and you will be asked to input all codes from the sessions that you attended to receive credit.

Why is the price the same for an In-Person Attendee and a Virtual Attendee?

We wanted to make sure to offer the same quality of continuing education programming to in-person attendees and virtual attendees.  In order to do that, we had to invest substantial resources in a platform that would allow virtual attendees to participate in a meaningful way and in real time.  The cost of this actually equates to what is spent on an in-person attendee, thus dictating the same attendance price for all.

When I click "Enter Sessions," it asks me for a password.  How do I get one?

In order to access the "Enter Sessions" area of the site, you need to be a registered attendee for the Convention.  Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which states that the password will be e-mailed to all attendees a week prior to the live Convention.

Do you have published COVID-19 policies for the meeting?

Florida Academy of Audiology is committed to making the FLAA 2021 Annual Convention a safe event.  Below are the COVID policies and procedures that we are enacting onsite at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek:

  • In-Person Attendance: Convention in-person registration is capped at 100 attendees to allow for social distancing in the General Sessions and social events.

  • Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the public areas of the hotel and at the entrance of the General Session.  We request that all attendees use hand sanitizer each time they enter the General Session room.

  • Masking: Per the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort's policy, masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests.

  • Daily Symptom Check-In: When you visit registration for the first time at Convention, your welcome packet will include “Daily Check-In Tickets.” You will be required to fill out and sign one daily check-in ticket before entering the meeting room each morning.  There will also be a temperature check when you first arrive at Convention.

  • Reserved Seats: Your registration materials will also include a table tent with your name.  We ask that you please put this at your seat each morning and leave it there for the day.  This will be your assigned seat for the day.  You may switch your seat the following morning.

  • Name Badge Ribbons: This year, we will offer options ribbons that attendees can place on their name badges to articulate their comfort level with social distancing.  Attendees will be able to visually identify their comfort-level with designations of Red for No Contact - No exceptions, Yellow for minimal contact, Elbows Only-Still Cautious and Green for High-Fives & Handshakes.

  • Signage: Directional signage and stickers will be included in high-traffic areas for one-way traffic flow.

In addition to FLAA’s commitment to COVID safety protocols, the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek has their own Health Guidelines which can be accessed here: Hotel Hygiene and Sanitation | Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek (wyndhamgrandorlando.com)
