Cammy Bahner, Au.D.
Cammy Bahner is an Education and Training Audiologist for Interacoustics and Micromedical Technologies in the U.S. and is a licensed audiologist in Minnesota. She received her Au.D. from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has several years of clinical experience in the area of vestibular diagnostics and electrophysiological assessment. She has served as a guest speaker at state, national and international conventions and is a contributing author on published articles in hearing industry journals. Cammy is currently a member of AAA and ASHA.
Noël Crosby, Au.D.
Dr. Noël Crosby, has been an audiologist for over 30 years. She graduated from Florida State University, where she also completed her masters degree, and she earned her doctorate in clinical audiology from the University of Florida. She was on the inaugural board of the Florida Academy of Audiology, served as its president in 2000 and 2009. Dr. Crosby worked at Sarasota¿s Silverstein Institute for 14 years, for the last six of which she was Director of Audiology. She then worked as a trainer and a sales rep for a hearing aid manufacturer. In 2006 she established her own clinic. In 2009 she also started AuDBling.com, A Hearing Loss Awareness Company.
Dave Fabry, Ph.D.
Dave Fabry, Ph.D. is Chief Innovation Officer at Starkey Hearing Technologies. He has served as a Past President of AAA, and currently is on the Board of Directors for the American Auditory Society (AAS). He was formerly Chief of Audiology at Mayo Clinic and University of Miami Medical Center, ad served as Research Audiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is a Past Editor-in-Chief of Audiology Today and the American Journal of Audiology. He is a licensed audiologist in Minnesota, Florida, and Rwanda.
Barry Freeman, Ph.D.
Barry A. Freeman, Ph.D. is the CEO and President of Audiology Consultants, Inc., a private audiology consulting firm based in Parkland, Florida. Previously, he was Vice President of Audiology and Business Development at ZPower LLC where he was responsible for bringing rechargeable batteries to the hearing aid industry. He retired from ZPower in April 2019 and currently teaches adjunct on the faculties of Florida International University, Lamar University, U. of So. Florida, and Pacific University in Oregon. Before returning to academia in 1997, Dr. Freeman owned and practiced for twenty years at the Center for Audiology in Clarksville, TN and Hearing Services of Kentucky in Hopkinsville, KY and was the founding chair of the Audiology Department at Nova Southeastern University.Dr. Freeman earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University School of Management and his Doctorate in Hearing and Speech Science from Michigan State University. He has taught audiology full-time on the faculties of Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Nova Southeastern University.Dr. Freeman has an extensive list of publications and has lectured and given professional presentations on Audiology related topics throughout the world. He is a past-president of the American Academy of Audiology and currently is Past-President of the Florida Academy of Audiology. He received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Academy in 2006.
Jennifer Gehlen, Au.D.
Dr. Gehlen is a Senior Manager of the Clinical Education Team for Signia. She is responsible for the support and on-going training of the Signia Educational Specialists and for creating new and innovative training methods to enhance customer service. She provides training to customers and staff on company technology, products, and fitting software. She holds an Au.D. from the University of Florida, where she also received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Communication Disorders. For the Signia brand, she has previously held the roles of staff audiologist for manufacturing and customer support, and field training consultant assisting customers. She has presented at several national and state meetings about amplification and tinnitus. She has practiced clinical audiology and hearing aid fitting in a variety of clinical settings in northern California and in the Tampa Bay, Florida area prior to joining Signia in 2011.
Amanda K. Greenwell, Au.D.
Amanda Greenwall is the Education and Training Specialist for Oticon’s Southeast region. She brings an educator’s perspective to her responsibilities, providing new and continuing education for hearing care professionals, technical product training and audiology field support for adults and children. Amanda’s clinical experience includes both ENT and private practice settings, where she worked with diverse patient populations. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education from Butler University and an Au.D. from Ball State University.
Lisa Hansel, MBA, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Lisa A. Hansel, MBA, Au.D. is a Clinical Instructor at the University of South Florida (USF). In the clinic, Dr. Hansel specializes in adult hearing, tinnitus, and vestibular/balance evaluations, along with the provision of amplification services. She also serves as the Externship Coordinator in charge of facilitating clinical placements for 4th year AuD students. Dr. Hansel teaches the Professional Audiology, Clinic Lab II, and Vestibular Evaluation and Treatment courses within the USF AuD program. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds Vestibular Assessment and Management Certification from the American Institute of Balance (AIB). She previously served as the Treasurer and is currently President-Elect of the Florida Academy of Audiology (FLAA).
Alyson Hoffman, ScD
Alyson Hoffman is the Clinical Trainer for the South Florida region and has lived in Tampa, FL for the past 6 years. She joins the Phonak team after practicing Audiology in the ENT setting for the past 5 years. She received her Doctor of Science in Audiology degree from Montclair State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Maryland. Her clinical experience includes diagnostic audiology for adults and geriatrics, hearing aid and assistive listening device evaluation and fitting, as well as vestibular diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitation.
Devon Weist, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Devon Weist, Au.D. is a Clinical Instructor at the University of South Florida (USF). At USF, Dr. Weist serves as the hearing clinic director, and is also responsible for coordinating student’s clinical practicum both here in the USF Hearing Clinic and when students are placed in the community. In the clinic, she works with students for adult diagnostic practicums that include amplification and assistive listening devices. She also teaches the Advanced Amplification, Counseling Across the Lifespan, and Medical Audiology courses within the USF AuD program. Dr. Weist is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and Florida Academy of Audiology (FLAA). She currently serves on AAA Board of Directors, is the Past President (2018) of FLAA and serves as a University Partner for the IDA Institute.
Sherrie Weller, M.S.
Sherrie Weller graduated with a master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of South Alabama in 1981. From working in a large ENT practice, hearing aid manufacturer’s representative, Neurology and Audiology Equipment sales, Sherrie’s work experiences has allowed her to develop a broad range of audiologic skills. She has also been guest lecturer at many state, AAA and ASHA conferences. In April 2018, Sherrie joined Interacoustics as the Manager of Field Training and Development. This new role allows her to share her practical knowledge with both audiologists, the e3 sales team and product development at Interacoustics.
Jennifer Wright, Au.D.
Jennifer Wright, AuD is the Sr. Director of Partner Marketing for WSA with a focus on building industry-leading customer loyalty programs and consumer marketing support. Jennifer has over 13 years of marketing, product management, training, and sales experience within the organization. Before working for WSA, Jennifer received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas and worked as a dispensing audiologist.
Suzanne Younker, Au.D., CCC-A, FAA
Dr. Younker has been practicing audiology for over 30-years with extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and Operations in the corporate environment. In the past 8-years, Dr. Younker has devoted her career to cultivating full-service TeleHealth/TeleAudiology methods in the hearing healthcare industry including research, education, protocol development, equipment implantation, provider and facilitator training, and patient engagement techniques. Currently, Dr. Younker is the Director of TeleHealth for Your Hearing Network, leading a team with a turnkey solution for achieving modern successes.
Additional professional engagements include current President of the Florida Academy of Audiology, member of the American Speech Hearing Association’s TeleAudiology Member Advisory Group and serves on the Florida Early Hearing and Detection Advisory Committee.
